Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a night shift on high-speed beverage lines. You will write and modify ladder logic, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and drives, and drive automation improvements across production assets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years of equivalent automation experience in a high-speed production setting.
• Hands-on PLC programming and ladder logic modification, not just troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings; read and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert for high-speed beverage lines.
• Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo and industrial-network issues to restore production safely.
• Implement permanent corrective actions through PLC/HMI changes and project work.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability and throughput.
• Participate in MOC processes for modifications and changes.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; support commissioning and upgrades.
