James Hardie is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee production line and equipment upkeep in a fast-paced facility. Expect hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with operators to minimize downtime on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

A 6S/TPM mindset is essential, with training provided to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing maintenance and a GED or higher, with forklift experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• High School/GED required; advanced certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain production lines and equipment with minimal downtime.
• Develop and prioritize work orders with shift teams to ensure on-time completion.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain an 85% on-time completion rate.
• Contribute to 6S and TPM programs to reduce inefficiencies by 25%.
• Assist, coach, and train operators on daily preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support the preventative maintenance process and post-maintenance line commissioning.
• Assist with plant projects to improve overall efficiency and speed.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and maintain a positive working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned with an 80% task completion rate.
