Job summary

REFRESCO is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tampa, FL to support fast-paced production and warehouse operations. The role requires adherence to GMPs, food safety standards, reading blueprints, and performing maintenance on critical systems with a focus on safety and reliability.

Shift is 2-2-3, 12-hour nights, with pay starting at $36 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma and at least two years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and PPE requirements in warehouse or production areas.
• Follow food quality and safety standards (SQF, etc.).
• Report FSMS problems to initiate corrective actions.
• Perform repair and preventive maintenance and line changeovers.
• Troubleshoot machinery (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Maintain production supporting equipment (glycol, RO, compressed air, lubrication, chemical distribution).
• Use innovative thinking to minimize downtime and ensure food safety and quality.
• Complete and document work orders with part numbers for inventory purposes.
• Communicate maintenance and production information between shifts.
• Assist in training other maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to resolve issues and improve.
