Graphic Packaging International, Inc. in Mitchell, SD seeks a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a rotating 3-2-2 schedule.

The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts fabrication to keep production lines running efficiently. Qualifications include an associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent, experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and a strong mechanical skill set.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, Electronics Electrician or equivalent.
• Knowledge of testing, troubleshooting and servicing electrical equipment including AC/DC drives, PLCs and I/O networks.
• Good mechanical skills including welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, up to 12-hour shifts.

Responsabilités

• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by performing preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate problem sources using instrumentation.
• Control downtime by communicating maintenance and electrical techniques to production.
• Fabricate and repair parts with machine shop equipment.
• Test performance of electrical, electronic, or integrated systems and assemblies.
• Document maintenance actions and trends for logs.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with regulations.
