Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking a skilled MultiCraft Maintenance Technician for the night shift (6:00pm–6:00am) in Twinsburg, OH. You will troubleshoot and repair pickling line equipment, slitters, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors in a 24/7 operation, with heavy emphasis on safety and reliability.

Training starts on the day shift before transitioning to nights; a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, overtime structure, and comprehensive benefits begin on Day 1.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or heavy mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, conveyors, or gearboxes.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with computers, meters, and measurement tools.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to complete CPR, First Aid, and First Responder training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pickling line equipment and slitters.
• Repair hydraulics, pumps, valves, cylinders and related systems.
• Maintain pneumatics, conveyors and gearboxes.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Support a 24/7 operation with timely maintenance.
• Document work and use testing tools to verify repairs.
