Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing manufacturing team during overnight operations. You will manage Shift Leaders, Operators, and production staff to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

You will ensure proper machine start-ups, monitor quality, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs. The role requires 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience and comfort with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of production equipment, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage shift leaders, operators, and assistants to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, policies, and quality requirements.
• Oversee equipment set-ups, start-ups, and efficient operation of machines.
• Monitor product quality, conduct audits, and ensure specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and PM.
• Manage production schedules, documentation, and shift communications.
• Provide training, coaching, and conflict resolution to the team.
