Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Lockbox Payment Processor to join our operations team on third shift. The role requires experience with high-volume payment processing and data entry and a proven ability to meet productivity and quality standards while following defined procedures.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, extracting payments from envelopes, and ensuring accuracy with client-specific workflows in a production environment. This is a contract role with trainingProvided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and PC-based applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work third shift, Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Prepare transactions for deposit by following lockbox procedures.
• Manually extract payments from envelopes and key amounts into the software.
• Sort checks and invoices per client specifications and workflow.
• Read and follow account-specific instructions for deposits.
• Sort completed batches for outgoing mail; maintain a clean area.
