Responsibilities

• Open and extract contents from incoming mail, including checks and remittance documents.
• Sort and batch payments and documents according to procedures.
• Remove obstructions to prepare items for imaging and processing.
• Review extracted items for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and research exceptions such as missing or damaged documents.
• Key payment and remittance data into designated systems with accuracy.
• Ensure keyed information aligns with source documents and meets quality standards.
• Escalate unresolved or non-standard exceptions per guidelines.
• Meet daily production, accuracy, and quality benchmarks.
• Follow security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized work area and adhere to mail handling policies.
• Collaborate with team members and leads to support workflow goals.
