Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.

• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and maintain safety for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods.
