Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for per diem night shifts. You will join a Magnet-designated team of nurses delivering high-quality obstetric care.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, and obstetric certifications, with experience in labor and delivery preferred. Per diem status may include variable shifts with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum one year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification Part I & II required.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• Special OB course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
