Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatrics Unit on a per diem basis in New Jersey. The role delivers safe patient care using the nursing process, with lead on patient and family teaching and coordination with physicians. Shift: Days; Per Diem status; competitive compensation.

Current RN license in NJ, BLS and PALS are required; NRP preferred; prior acute pediatric care experience and BSN are advantageous. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• NRP (AAP) preferred.
• Previous Acute Care Pediatric hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care within the Pediatrics Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
