Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• NRP (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year experience in an acute care setting with NICU exposure.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Provide direct NICU care for neonates from delivery through discharge.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors; ensure proper chain of command.
