Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• NRP (AAP) certification preferred.
• Prior Acute Care Pediatric hospital experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Pediatrics Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and document monitoring results.
• Maintain standards of care and respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment.
