Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center invites applications for a Labor and Delivery RN to provide professional nursing care to patients during night shifts. You will work under a physician's direction and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes mentoring new staff, coordinating care plans, safe medication administration, patient education, and strict adherence to PHI privacy standards within the Health System's policies. ADN required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN required for this position.
• Current RN licensure in KS or compact state.
• BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire or by end of orientation.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP/ TNCC/ NIHSS/AWHONN may be required per department policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients under physician direction.
• Mentor, develop and train new staff and students.
• Maintain and review patient care plans within scope.
• Educate patient and family on care, medications, and self-care.
• Accurate documentation per policy.
• Maintain PHI privacy and comply with HIPAA.
