Job summary
Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS seeks a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. This role plans and delivers professional nursing care to patients, mentors staff, and ensures high-quality care within a 0.9 FTE schedule.
Candidate must hold an RN license in Kansas or a compact state and maintain BLS/CPR, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required. Benefits include Paid Parental Leave, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holiday premium pay, shift and weekend differential pay,
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required within 30 days of hire or orientation period.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients under the direction of a physician.
- Mentors, develops and trains new staff and students.
- Delivers patient care per unit policies and procedures.
- Evaluates patient needs and maintains a comprehensive care plan.
- Educates patient/family on care, medications, and health management.
- Completes timely documentation per policy.
