Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a Seasonal, Full-Time Day position. Provides direct nursing care in L&D, mentors new staff, and collaborates with physicians to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires ADN, Kansas RN license, BLS/CPR, and preferred BSN. Strong communication, multitasking, and documentation skills are essential for high-quality obstetric care.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply the basic principles of nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Keyboarding skills and basic computer skills.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients under the direction of a physician.
• Mentors, develops and trains new staff and students.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients as described in unit/department-based competencies, policies, and procedures.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation as per Health System/affiliate policy.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and care team.
