Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join a night shift team in Labor & Delivery. Full-time, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Provides patient-centered care under the Illinois Act and hospital policies, using critical thinking and teamwork. Competitive hourly pay, sign-on bonus of $25,000 for eligible candidates, and a comprehensive benefits package including premium pay options, tuition reimbursement, health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective Sept 1, 2021).
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• ACLS within six months of start date into position
• C-EFM within one year of start date into position
• NRP certification within six months of start date into position
• Labor and delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care according to the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies; uses critical thinking to assess, plan, monitor, and evaluate patient care; delegates tasks and collaborates with the team.
