Job summary

Endeavor Health offers a Registered Nurse position for night shift at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a 1900-0730 schedule, weekend rotations, and a one-shift-in-six-weeks on-call requirement. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible Labor and Delivery experience.

The RN will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the clinical team, and support continuous improvement and patient outcomes in a Magnet-recognized system.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse in Illinois.
• Graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program is required; BSN is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years labor and delivery or acute care nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a care plan to achieve outcomes and evaluates progress.
• Performs patient assessment and data collection with patient, family, and team.
• Communicates plan of care to patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Educates patient and family based on learning needs; addresses cultural considerations.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and staff; supports performance improvement activities.
• Provides wound/ostomy/skin care as appropriate and assists with related procedures.
• Assists in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
