Job summary
Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to join our 36-hour per week night shift team. You will perform patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and educate patients and families while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year in Labor and Delivery. A $25,000 sign-on bonus accompanies full-time employment and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
- Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely and appropriate interventions.
- Communicates clearly with patients, families and healthcare staff in person, by phone and in writing.
- Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
- Participates in evaluating nursing quality and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
