Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the night shift at Evanston Hospital, Evanston IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 1900-0730 with weekend rotation and a sign-on bonus of $25,000 for Labor and Delivery experience.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering patient care, collaborating with physicians and peers, and providing education and support to patients and families. License in IL required; BSN preferred; strong clinical skills and HIPAA compliance are

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois required.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required from AHA.
• Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a care plan and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient/family.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family, and to the medical team.
• Personalizes teaching based on learning needs and cultural considerations.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and staff to ensure outcomes.
• Provides psychological support and maintains a compassionate environment.
• Assists with injections, procedures, and IV management as skilled.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and professional development.
• Conducts daily rounds for wound/ostomy/skin care when skilled.
