Wonder in Columbia is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food and service for guests. You will lead the team through opening, prep, and closing duties and collaborate with chef leadership to maintain excellence.

The role requires 1+ year supervising experience in a QSR or full-service setting, strong communication, and a professional, proactive leadership style. Overnight shifts include a premium and benefits support is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervising experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in service, opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure top quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communications to ensure stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and remains in working order.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with FOH and BOH staff.
• Provide training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
