Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator for our St. Louis on-site security operations center. You will manage real-time interactions during critical security events, using two-way audio/video to communicate with monitored sites and escalate or resolve incidents in real time.

The role requires handling alarms, de-escalation of incidents, and maintaining clear communication with customers and emergency personnel. Benefits include shift differentials and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/ virtual tours of customer locations, observing areas for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening/closing or on request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on severity, including contacting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals; place outgoing calls to verify validity.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm incidents.
• Notify individuals per customer instructions.
• Provide life safety dispatch and alarm communication to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events with two-way audio systems.
• Intervene during real-time incidents with authority and clear communication.
• Handle loitering, trespassing, or other security violations with de-escalation.
• Document interactions and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and interventions.
