Job summary

fairlife, LLC is building a state-of-the-art facility in Webster, NY and seeks a Plant Instrument Controls Technician for the night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. You will maintain plant inspection, instrument, electrical, and control systems, joining a shift maintenance team that handles planned and unplanned work.

Responsibilities include repairing and updating process control instruments, PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment; installing instrumentation devices; monitoring

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting.
• Experience programming in IEC 61131-3 languages; ladder, function block, structured text, etc.
• Proficiency in English: written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized duties in repair and maintenance of instruments, controls and process control networks.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment using diagrams and schematics.
• Install or replace instrumentation devices and control systems; program devices and download parameters.
• Monitor and improve process control systems; ensure operation aligns with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical training to lower-level personnel and training for end users on new/modified controls.
