Job summary

fairlife, LLC, a Chicago-based nutrition company, is seeking a Plant Instrument Controls Technician in Webster, NY. You will maintain instrument, electrical, and control systems across production areas, work with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, and assist with commissioning and training during system changes.

The role requires PLC/HMI programming and network proficiency, and offers a rotating night shift with schedule and a $2 night differential. Base pay is $45–$47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (Micrologix/Micro800, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and Siemens Step 7.
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI/SCADA programming and configuration, and Ethernet networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and updates of instruments, controls, and process networks.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust PLCs and HMIs using diagrams and test equipment.
• Install or replace instrumentation devices and control systems, and program devices as needed.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning with contractors and ensure training on changes.
