Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Plant Instrument Controls Technician (ICT) to join our Maintenance team in Webster, NY. You will perform routine and advanced maintenance on PLCs, HMIs, and process control systems across packaging, processing, and facilities utilities.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial control maintenance, experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, and proficiency in IEC 61131-3 languages. Night shift with a 12-hour schedule and a $2 night differential applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix/Micro800, CompactLogix & ControlLogix and Siemens Step 7 PLCs.
• Experience programming in IEC 61131-3 languages (ladder, FBD, ST, IL, SFC).
• Proficiency in English — written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance on instruments, controls and process control networks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Work with team to plan, analyze and control process quality.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment using diagrams and test equipment.
• Install or replace instrumentation devices and control systems; program/download parameters as needed.
• Ensure proper transfer of PLC changes and provide training to end users.
