Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Plant Instrument Controls Technician (ICT) for our Webster, NY facility. This night shift position (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend, offering a $2/hour night shift differential.

The ICT maintains plant instrument, electrical, and control systems across packaging, processing, and utilities departments. You will work with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and VFDs, ensuring uptime, performing preventive and corrective

Qualifications

• Three+ years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and configuration.
• Experience with VFDs/Servo Drives.
• Knowledge of industrial networks: EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, AS-i, Modbus.
• Engineering or technical degree or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance on instruments, controls, and process control networks.
• Plan, analyze, and control process quality as part of a team.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment.
• Install or replace instrumentation devices and control systems; program as needed.
• Monitor operations to promptly detect and correct malfunctions.
• Train end users and provide technical instruction to staff.
