Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Lisle, IL is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and related control systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work a 3rd shift with overtime after 40 hours and be responsible for equipment uptime and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and hands-on PLC experience, servo systems, and the ability to read electrical schematics. Relocation benefits and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with PLCs and servo systems required.
• Experience with maintenance in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, switches, PLC I/O and related wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog/digital controls with 480V power distribution.
• Maintain encoders and load cells; diagnose position feedback devices.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
• Modify PLC logic and ladder programming.
• Troubleshoot HMI/SCADA interfaces and communication protocols (Profibus, serial, Industrial Ethernet).
• Troubleshoot electrical schematics and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
