Job summary

Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network seeks a dedicated team member to coordinate the evaluation, authorization, medical management, surgical recovery and distribution of organs for transplantation or research from deceased donors. You will collaborate with hospital and transplant teams to facilitate donations.

The role requires 12-hour night shifts and strong communication with donor families and internal/external partners.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in healthcare-related field; RN/RT or similar preferred.
• Experience delivering critical care medicine.
• Ability to communicate compassionately with families of potential donors.

Responsibilities

• Advance Gift of Hope’s mission and values.
• Work 12 hour night shift (7PM-7AM).
• Evaluate potential organ/tissue donors from hospital records.
• Document clinical information clearly.
• Coordinate medical management of donors with anesthesia.
• Coordinate surgical recovery and distribution of donor organs.
