Job summary

Gift of Hope is seeking a dedicated professional to manage daily referral activity for organ donation. You will triage referrals, gather clinical information, and determine donor viability while coordinating with hospital teams to ensure timely responses and outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, compassion, and the ability to work independently in a high-stress environment. 12-hour day shifts with alternating weekends and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Allied Health or graduate RN providing patient care in an acute care setting
• Other candidates may be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of management, dependent on aligned job experience

Responsibilities

• Triage organ referrals and obtain clinical information to determine medical suitability
• Provide clinical assessment to determine organ viability
• Create case plan for organ referrals including needs once onsite staff involved
• Support staff through the referral process and provide education on the donation process
• Coordinate onsite staff for organ donors and referral activity
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation per policies and communicate essential information to Gift of Hope staff and transplant centers
