Trinity Health Corp. is seeking a full-time Boiler Operator to manage boilers, chillers, pumps and building management systems at a Mercy facility. The role involves monitoring meters, adjusting valves, recording readings, and maintaining water chemistry to ensure safe operations.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, adherence to regulations, and testing emergency generators. Candidates should have a GED or technical training and power plant experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Specialized or technical training.
• Two years experience in a power plant setting.

Responsabilidades

• Operates, adjusts, and regulates steam boilers, compressors, generators, pumps, chillers, cooling towers and building management systems.
• Observes steam-flow meters, gauges and plans, adjusting valves to meet readings.
• Records readings in the logbook and tests water hardness.
• Oils, greases moving parts and maintains proper boiler water conditions.
• Ensures compliance with state and local regulations, including shutdowns and inspections.
• Detects warnings, malfunctions, and tests emergency generators.
• Maintains Pneumatic tube system as requested and keeps plant clean.
