Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Completion of an approved course in high pressure steam boiler operations
• Current Fireman License with the City of Wilmington

Responsibilities

• Operate boiler and chiller plant systems per specifications.
• Test boiler water and chill water systems and treat chemically to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair maintenance on boiler and chiller plant equipment.
• Respond to boiler and chiller plant emergencies per instructions.
• Clean plant spaces, equipment, and piping.
• Report to Chief Boiler Operator.
• Other duties as assigned
