Engineering team at Mount Sinai Campus, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is hiring for a full-time shift-based position in Plant Operations. The role operates and maintains hospital mechanical systems, boilers, chillers, and BMS, providing continuous utilities like steam and chilled water.

Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in boiler operation; CT licenses (OE-2, S-2, E, P) are required for higher levels. Strong reading/writing in English and safety focus are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in operation and repair of high pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• License requirements: Level I OE-2; Level II CT license (S-2, OE-2, E, P).
• Ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain hospital mechanical systems and equipment; perform basic repairs.
• Ensure safe operation of high pressure steam boilers, auxiliary equipment, centrifugal chillers and water towers.
• Maintain personal growth and competency; support safe plant operations.
• Contribute to efficient department operations and dependable performance.
• Support hospital operations through reliable shift coverage and timely responses.
