Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Group Lead – Printing in Lee’s Summit, MO.

The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and coordinates activities and labor for the printing department, directing multiple cells to meet production targets while upholding safety and GMP standards. The Group Lead collaborates with Cell Leaders, Technical Support, Scheduling, and team members to drive continuous improvement and ensure a fair and non-discriminatory work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years’ experience as an Operator in printing.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written skills.
• Pass the 8-Color Printer Exam; TWI training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to prepare and update labor allocation.
• Balance workload across presses within the cells and manage shift needs.
• Attend shift changeover meetings and communicate priorities for upcoming shifts.
• Lead and mentor Cell Leaders; ensure safety, GMP and quality standards.
• Back-up Shift Supervisor responsibilities when needed.
