Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience as an Operator.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to prepare and update labor allocation for the shift.
• Assign and distribute work to ensure balanced workload across presses.
• Review absences and back-up strategies with the Shift Supervisor.
• Hold Cell Leaders accountable to performance targets for the cell.
• Coordinate new hire and team member training within the department.
• Accurately schedule, post, and resource print jobs daily and communicate changes.
• Identify and correct scheduling, material, and information issues affecting flow.
• Conduct daily walks around cells to check safety, equipment, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate with Cell Leaders to resolve downtime and complete maintenance work orders.
• Determine root cause of production issues and report corrective actions.
• Attend shift changeover meetings to review priorities and needs.
• Ensure end-of-shift routines and Cell Lead reports are completed.
