Polytainers in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking a Group Lead for Printing. You will coordinate shift labor, manage multiple printing cells, and drive on-time production while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Group Lead is responsible for coordinating the activities and labor for the printing department and directing several printing department cells in order to ensure material and information flow. The Group Lead works with Cell Leaders, Technical Support, Scheduling, and various other Printing Team Members to achieve printing production targets, to support and contribute to continuous improvement within the department, and to ensure the working environment is fair, equitable and non-discriminatory. This position is also responsible for food safety and quality procedures to ensure that the Company’s objectives for food safety and quality meet or exceed customers’ and regulatory agencies’ requirements.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
5 years’ experience as an Operator
None
Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
Pass the 8-Color Printer Exam. Ability to coordinate multiple activities at the same time. Certification in TWI training strongly preferred.
