Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Group Lead – Printing in Lee’s Summit, MO.
The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and coordinates activities and labor for the printing department, directing multiple cells to meet production targets while upholding safety and GMP standards. The Group Lead collaborates with Cell Leaders, Technical Support, Scheduling, and team members to drive continuous improvement and ensure a fair and non-discriminatory work environment.

Shift: Night Shift 7 pm to 7 am ( 2-2-3 schedule)
Shift Premium: Additional $2.00/hour for Night Shift

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Group Lead is responsible for coordinating the activities and labor for the printing department and directing several printing department cells in order to ensure material and information flow. The Group Lead works with Cell Leaders, Technical Support, Scheduling, and various other Printing Team Members to achieve printing production targets, to support and contribute to continuous improvement within the department, and to ensure the working environment is fair, equitable and non-discriminatory. This position is also responsible for food safety and quality procedures to ensure that the Company’s objectives for food safety and quality meet or exceed customers’ and regulatory agencies’ requirements.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum Experience/Field: 5 years’ experience as an Operator
Courses Required: None
Computer Skills: Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
Additional Education/Experience/Skills: Pass the 8-Color Printer Exam. Ability to coordinate multiple activities at the same time. Certification in TWI training strongly preferred.
