Job summary

Atrium Health Union is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Float Pool. This full-time role involves 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7p-7a, with every other weekend and opportunities to float to Union, Union West, Waxhaw ED, and Anson.

You will engage in quality initiatives, follow evidence-based practices, and collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across units.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with appropriate state privileges.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BSN degree preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the team.
• Administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Engage patients and families to support the continuum of care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and safety standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and certification renewal.
