Job summary

Phoenix Communications is hiring a Splice Groundman - Nights to support fusion splicing, verification testing, troubleshooting and fiber optic cable repair for our Northeast operations. You will maintain trucks, handle splice cases, ensure safety and follow customer network requirements on site in Massachusetts.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, color vision, DOT physical, ability to work at height or in confined spaces, and 2–4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and color vision required.
• DOT physical and RMV driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the truck, stock, clean work areas.
• Retrieve splice cases from overhead/underground locations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow customer requirements.
• Perform heavy physical labor.
