Job summary

Phoenix Communications, Inc. is hiring a Fiber Optic Splice Technician to perform fusion splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber optic cables. You will support construction operations while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, ability to travel up to 50%, and strong communication skills. The role requires physical labor and comfort with heights and confined spaces, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Pass a background check, drug test, DOT physical, and provide RMV driving record.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and software.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
• Availability to work any shift, including on-call rotations.

As a Fiber Optic Splice Technician, you will be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for fusion splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optic cables.
