Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily feed mill operations, supervise 8–30 hourly employees, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role includes scheduling, inventory control, daily production reporting, and process improvements to meet mill requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of feed manufacturing experience and supervisory capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ progressive feed manufacturing experience (supervisory experience preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate people; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees, provide direction, and enforce discipline consistently.
• Schedule feed mill activities and production to meet mill requirements.
• Oversee inventories and manage daily reporting and records.
• Ensure safety training, compliance with FSMA and company policies.
• Complete daily feed mill checklists and housekeeping audits.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
