Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Alabama seeks a supervisor to lead daily feed mill operations. You will supervise and train hourly staff, enforce safety, schedule production and shipments, and manage inventories while ensuring compliance with FSMA and company policies.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in feed manufacturing, a HS diploma, and possibly an associate degree in related field. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years feed manufacturing experience preferred.
• Preferred associate degree in Poultry/Animal/Feed Science or related field.
• Experience in automated feed processing and related equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees; lead by example and coach with consistency.
• Provide safety training and enforce safety standards.
• Schedule mill activities including feed manufacturing and shipments.
• Plan production to meet mill requirements and manage inventories.
• Oversee inventories and daily reporting (production records, batching, etc.).
• Review daily production reports and perform housekeeping audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Complete daily feed mill checklist and perform other duties as assigned.
