Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a supervisor for the feed mill to oversee daily operations, train staff, and schedule production and shipments. The role focuses on safety, compliance with FSMA and company policies, and detailed reporting of production activities.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in feed manufacturing with supervisory experience and strong leadership. The position requires high school completion and offers a path to advanced responsibilities within our facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ progressive feed manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years’ progressive feed manufacturing experience (preferred).
• 1+ year related supervisor experience within similar environment (preferred).
• Experience in automated feed processing and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees: lead by example, provide direction, and enforce disciplinary actions.
• Provide and enforce safety training.
• Schedule feed mill activities including manufacturing and shipments.
• Schedule production to meet mill requirements and inventories.
• Oversee and manage inventories.
• Manage daily reporting (tank chart, production records, etc.).
• Review daily production reports.
• Perform housekeeping audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies, FSMA regulations, and laws.
• Complete daily feed mill checklist and other duties as assigned.
