Job summary

nVent is seeking a Facilities Technician to support our 3rd shift operations in Minnesota. Responsibilities include general labor, painting, plumbing, and aiding remodel projects, plus inert gas system maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial environment, knowledge of light plumbing HVAC and compressed air systems, and must obtain a boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months. Proficiency with reading drawings and basic computer tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Plumbing HVAC - Light commercial; and compressed air systems - Light commercial.
• Ability to obtain Boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months.
• Computer skills to navigate websites, email and office programs.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines and maintenance manuals.
