nVent in Anoka, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (4 days on / 4 days off) to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, responding to breakdowns, installing and aligning equipment, and coordinating parts and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of mechanical maintenance

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience reading blueprints/technical drawings is a plus.
• Welding experience (stick/wire-feed) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and document work.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Move, install, anchor, and align production equipment as needed.
• Coordinate material requirements for maintenance projects.
