Rivian Automotive is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across service centers and customer sites. The role may involve remote work and travel to production plants to provide vehicle support as needed.

The position covers a broad spectrum of skills from diagnosis to parts management, with a 6pm–4am schedule and a 15% pay differential for night hours. Candidate must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in dynamic environments.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (3–5 year window).
• Willingness to work 40 hours and possible weekends/holidays.
• Comfort with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Provide feedback for process and quality improvements.
• Support service campaigns and containment initiatives.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional customer interactions.
• Stay current with required training and skill development.
