Job summary

Rivian in Colorado seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers and field locations. This level-agnostic posting allows candidates across seniorities, with travel to production plants or remote sites as needed.

The position includes a 6pm–4am night schedule with a 15% differential and requires teamwork, strong safety discipline, and customer-facing professionalism.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive repair experience preferred or recent automotive graduate.
• EV/hybrid repair experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours including nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field at customer sites.
• Identify and explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Use technical resources to follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Provide feedback on areas of improvement to senior technicians or leadership.
• Support service campaigns and containment initiatives.
• Document all work and notes for internal and external use.
