Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, under senior mentorship, at a local service center with potential travel, remote work, or plant support as needed.

Night shift hours run 5pm-2am. The role emphasizes communication, safety, and continuous learning within a dynamic startup environment focused on reliable electric vehicles.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of hands-on automotive experience.
• Foundational EV/hybrid knowledge.
• Ability to learn and follow repair procedures.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac computers.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service and repair at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Provide technical guidance and learning under mentor guidance.
• Adhere to procedures and safety standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and safety.
• Assist with parts operations and work orders.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners.
• Identify process improvements and participate in campaigns.
• Pursue required training and grow technical skills.
