Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an ER Technician for night shifts at a small-format hospital.

The role provides technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas, including vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharge. The position requires completing a Medical Corpsman/EMT/Paramedic pathway with 1+ year of ER/hospital experience and current BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred in certain markets, with travel to various facility

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certification in BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required
• ACLS/ALS certification preferred in most markets
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy and EKG initiation preferred
• English fluency; strong written and oral communication
• For certain markets, additional clearances may apply

Responsabilités

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies and COLA/CLIA
• Assist with patient activities per plan of care
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Maintain clean, safe environment and proper aseptic technique
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge
• Travel to all facility locations as required
• Attend staff or mandated meetings and perform additional duties
