Job summary

Emerus seeks an ER Support Technician to provide patient care during the night shift. Responsibilities include collecting vitals, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient safety and privacy in a small-format hospital setting.

Candidate must have EMT-P/EMT-A/LP or EMT-B with ER experience and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS/ALS; PALS preferred). Must be fluent in English and able to travel to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Multiple pathways include EMT-P, AEMT, LP or EMT-B with ER experience.
• English fluency in speaking and writing is required.

Responsibilities

• Document clinical data and take vitals per protocol.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies.
• Assist with patient care and safety as per plan of care.
• Maintain infection control and patient privacy.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
