Emerus seeks a Night shift ER Technician to provide technical assistance and patient care across assigned areas. Responsibilities include collecting vitals, specimens, and assisting with care plans, while maintaining privacy and safety in a small-format hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have an EMT-B or paramedic credential, BLS/ACLS, and experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation. Travel to locations may be required; nursing students or CNAs are welcome to apply.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy and initiation of EKG is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform basic tests per policy.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety.
• Travel to facility locations as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge.
